Beach racing fundraiser for Ramsey RNLI Lifeboat this Saturday

by isleofman.com 5th November 2012

The Manx Grass and Sand Racing Club are holding a beach racing event, with racing by solo and quad bikes, on Ramsey Beach by the RNLI Station on the afternoon of Saturday 10th November. The event is for all classes and will also be a fundraiser for Ramsey’s lifeboat, the RNLB Ann & James Ritchie.

The afternoon’s entertainment with thrills and hopefully no spills will start around noon and carry on until late afternoon, finishing before it gets dark. The lifeboat crew will be on hand in the boat house serving hot drinks, burgers and soup.

All hands at Ramsey Lifeboat Station and the Manx Grass and Sand Racing Club wish to thank Ramsey Town Commissioners for allowing the event to go ahead and also the neighbours of the lifeboat house for their unceasing goodwill, patience and support.
