Controversial funnyman heads for Island

by isleofman.com 31st October 2012

Controversial comedian Jimmy Carr is coming to the Isle of Man to play a gig at the Villa Marina.

He’s due to play on Wednesday, September 4 next year – tickets are already on sale.

Carr hit the headlines earlier this year after he was linked to a tax avoidance scheme by The Times newspaper.

He pulled out of the scheme, describing it as a terrible error of judgement after mocking corporate tax avoidance.
