Jury yet to reach a verdict at trial

by isleofman.com 29th October 2012

There's still no verdict at the Douglas East by-election fraud trial.

The jury has spent the day continuing to consider the evidence presented to it over the course of the five-and-a-half-week trial.

It will resume its deliberations at 9.45am tomorrow.

Twenty-five-year-old Kerry Rothwell of Onchan and 40-year-old Gail Corrin of Douglas deny dishonestly obtaining proxy votes for Kevin Woodford in the 2010 Douglas East by-election.
