More questions on Pinewood Shepperton in Keys

by isleofman.com 28th October 2012

There are yet more questions for the treasury minister on the Pinewood Shepperton deal in the Keys this coming week

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has four for oral answer.

She also has a query for the chief minister on the progress being made to implement and enforce the Disability Discrimination Act.

Meanwhile Onchan MHK Zac Hall wants to know how the content of the chief minister's 'Agenda for Change' speech to Tynwald was agreed upon by the Council of Ministers, and how it matched with election manifesto priorities.

There are eighteen questions for written answer, on topics such as, again, Pinewood, the future of the Steam Packet user agreement, the finances of local authorities and hospital waiting lists.

Meanwhile in the Legislative Council the following bills receive their third readings; Company and Business Names, Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (Limitation on Debt Recovery), Town and Country Planning (Amendment), and the Children and Young Persons (Amendment).

The Moneylenders (Amendment) Bill 2012 meanwhile receives its first reading.

You can hear live coverage of House of Keys questions on Manx Radio's AM1368 frequency, and via manxradio.com, from 10am Tuesday.
