Fright fest in Douglas

Douglas town centre has a frightening feel to it on this afternoon (Sat), as the Island's inaugural Fright Fest takes place.

The afternoon of festivities include ghost walks, live music, fancy dress competitions and a local food and craft market.

Dressing up is mandatory in what is the beginning of the traditional Manx celebration of Hop tu Naa.

Gill Anderson from Douglas Development Partnership, says she hopes this event will encourage people to use Douglas as a place to hold events throughout the year:
