by isleofman.com 25th October 2012

The Isle of Man Ship Registry has hosted a reception for the shipping industry in London.

The Lloyd’s building in Lime Street was the setting for the event, which saw government officials and private sector representatives from the Island meeting the industry’s major players.

Alex Downie MLC led the delegation, describing the event as an ideal networking opportunity to meet new and existing clients.

Registry Director Dick Welsh gave a presentation about the advantages of registering ships under the Isle of Man flag.
