Gerrard on form at Ballanette

Keith Gerrard, making a rare home appearance, won the opening round of the Isle of Man Microgaming Cross-Country League at Ballanette, Lonan.

The current Inter-Counties and English National Champion was in great form and finished 2 minutes and 26 seconds clear of second placed Andy Barron.

Gail Griffiths won the Ladies race by a margin of 35 seconds from Nikki Boyde.

Other class winners were Illiam Quane, Stephen Garrett, Kirree Quayle, Conor Davies, Katie Astin, David Mullarkey, Jessica Hill, Ethan Georgeson, Lydia Morris, Alex Read and Katie Crook.
