Criminal damage charge dropped

by isleofman.com 22nd October 2012

A charge of criminal damage has been withdrawn against a 33-year-old Castletown man.

The man had been accused of daubing graffiti on a garage door in the town on Friday night.

It praised Dale Cregan, the man accused of killing PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes in Manchester last month, and also referred to the Hillsborough disaster.

However, the prosecution has withdrawn the charge due to insufficient evidence.
