Chief minister says he's committed to FOI, despite delay

The chief minister says he's committed to bringing in laws which will give people greater access to government information.

But there's still no definite time frame for the introduction of the Freedom of Information legislation.

This week in a written answer to a Tynwald question, Allan Bell revealed the new law probably wouldn’t be introduced this year because policy issues still needed to be discussed.

The Positive Action Group has expressed its dismay the legislation has been delayed once again.

Mr Bell says he wants to make sure it's done properly:
