by isleofman.com 20th October 2012

The top four in JCK Division Two all won on Saturday to cement their positions.

Leaders Michael made it nine wins out of nine in a topsy-turvy game at Douglas Athletic.

The westerners triumphed 9-4.

A Pete Fisher hat-trick, two from Kev Pulman and one apiece from Danny Chalk, Ben Drewry, Kieran Quinn and Andy Williamson maintained their 100 per cent record.

Steve Cowin (two), Peter Ward and James Horton found the net for the battling home side.

Colby maintained second spot with a hard fought 3-1 win at Onchan.

Adam Fretwell (two) and James Collett were the match winners.

Josh Clarke pulled one back for Onchan in the closing stages.

Ramsey Youth Centre returned home after hitting six without reply at Douglas and District.

Chris Robinson (two), Steve Grove, Michael Nixon, Graham Kennish and Graham McGovern grabbed the goals for the third placed team.

Ayre also won convincingly on the road.

They hit seven past Pulrose.

Doubles from Phil Quayle, Jason Craine and Chris Duggan and one from Johnny Kelly secured a 7-3 win.

It was hard not feel some sympathy for Barry English who hit a hat-trick for the home team and still ended up on the losing side.

Douglas Royal leapfrogged Braddan after winning 4-0 at Victoria Road.

Richard Winn (two), Paul Whitley and Ryan Kelly scored the Royal goals.

Ronaldsway have their first win of the season.

A dominant first half sealed a 5-1 win at Malew in the southern derby.

The Rockets hit four of their goals before the break and there was no doubting the star of the show.

Liam Crawley netted a hat-trick with Dave Kelly and Jamie Heeney completing the rout.
