Vagabonds recorded a 34-32 win away at third placed Ormskirk and picked up a try bonus point in the process.

The win sees them go ahead of Ormskirk in the South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two standings.

Sam Liver opened the scoring for Vagas and there were also tries from Sam Cannell, Jo Louw, Mark McGreal and Ross McCulloch.

Johnny Beckley added two conversions and there was also a penalty from Leigh Kennaugh.

Douglas beat Ramsey 26-3 at Port-e-Chee to maintain their 100 per cent record and keep the pressure on leaders Sefton.

They led 11-0 at half-time thanks to a try and a drop goal from Bryn Snellgrove and a penalty from skipper Scott Goodall.

Snellgrove added his second try after half-time and a try from Steve Tansell made the game safe, with Goodall adding a conversion and a penalty to complete his side’s scoring.
