Railway Cup race hots up

by isleofman.com 19th October 2012

Football - Premier League leaders Laxey have a battle to remain top on Saturday afternoon.

Defeat in their home match against third placed St. Mary's will see them replaced at the summit.

They could drop to third if that happens and Champions St. George's win their game against Gymns at Glencrutchery Road.

There's also a basement battle when Marown visit Ramsey.

In Rugby, all eyes will be on the first Manx derby of the season in South Lancashire and Cheshire Division Two.

High-flying Douglas will be looking for a seventh straight victory against struggling Ramsey.

Vagabonds have a tough test on the road at third in the table Ormskirk.

In Hockey, Mixed Premier League leaders Bacchas "A" don't play so Champions Valkyrs "A" have the chance to go out in front by two points if they see off the challenge of Ramsey "A".
