by isleofman.com 19th October 2012

The new St Ninian's Lower School at Bemahague will be officially opened this afternoon (Fri)

The ceremony will be carried out by Minister of Education and Children Tim Crookall MHK at 2.15pm

Students have been attending the facility since the start of the new term in September.

It replaces the old Park Road school, which has now closed its doors after more than a hundred years service.

Speaking on the first day of term, headteacher Andy Fox said it was a momentous day for education on the Isle of Man
