PAG dismay as FOI act delayed again

The Positive Action Group says it’s dismayed by what appears to be more delays to a long-awaited Freedom of Information Act.

This week in a written answer to a Tynwald question, Chief Minister Allan Bell revealed the new law probably won’t be introduced this year because policy issues still need to be discussed.

That’s drawn the ire of PAG’s Roger Tomlinson, who says it seems to break Allan Bell’s pledge to bring the legislation forward.

He says the law has seen one delay after another:
