Teare mum on TIEA

by isleofman.com 17th October 2012

Treasury Minister Eddie Teare can’t say how many requests for information have been received under the Island’s Tax Information Exchange Agreements.

Onchan MHK Zac Hall asked for the information broken down by country in a question for written answer.

But Mr Teare explained part of the agreement is that any and all information provided and received remains confidential.

And in that case, he told Mr Hall the specific information couldn’t be provided.
