No riders signed for Classic TT races yet

Economic Development Minister John Shimmin has confirmed his department has not signed any top name riders for next year's Classic TT.

Answering a question in Tynwald, Mr. Shimmin stated no appearance or start money fund has been allocated as yet.

He rounded on North Douglas MHK John Houghton for asking a series of questions about the proposed funding of the Classic TT.

He said his department and the Manx Motor Cycle Club were still in negotiations and were now working togther on the new look meeting after initially being at loggerheads.

Mr Shimmin said budgets for the launch of the Classic TT are still being worked on:
