Island-based AXA Wealth International has won two honours at the International Fund and Product Awards.

The firm, in its 20th year servicing business in the Isle of Man, was named top in the Best International Life Group and Best International Life Product categories.

The judging panel praised AWI's targeted use of products, highlighting the Estate Planning Bond as a market leader which 'ticks all the boxes'.

The firm's use of QR or quick response codes met with approval in the use of technology to improve service, one of the judging criteria.

QR codes allow financial advisers access to product literature using a smart phone, to suit clients' needs.

The awards are hosted by Professional Advisor magazine.

Managing Director Mike Foy welcomed the industry recognition for AWI's quality of service, products and staff.
