Decision to be made on future of Manx Radio

An informed decision needs to be made about the future of Manx Radio.

That’s the belief of the Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan ahead of a Tynwald debate next week.

A Treasury report on public service broadcasting in the Isle of Man is due to go before the court.

Garff MHK Mr Rodan says there needs to be political consensus about the importance of a national broadcaster and to what extent it should be funded by the taxpayer.
