A campaigner who fought for the retention of government-run pre-schools says the public expected much more from a Council of Ministers working party.
Amy Burns was listening to the working party members give evidence to a Tynwald committee this morning.
She believed the party was charged with evaluating the Department of Education's policy and considering possible alternatives.
However she says from today's evidence it's clear that wasn't the case:
