MLC stays mum over pensions

One of the Isle of Man's most senior politicians is refusing to be drawn on the matter of pensions.

Eddie Lowey MLC says the decision about whether or not he's contributing to the members' scheme is his own business.

The matter will come to Tynwald next week, and there's speculation about a small number of people choosing not to pay in.

When we spoke to Mr Lowey and said we'd like to know if he was contributing, this was his reply.
