Sewage plant for Peel moves step closer

The possibility of a regional sewerage treatment works for Peel has moved a step closer this week.

Chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority, Graham Cregeen, says he asked the town's commissioners to vote on whether or not they'd like the authority to carry out a feasibility study into such a plant for the town.

The local authority voted in favour of such a study being carried out.
