prayer in St Johns

by isleofman.com 30th September 2012

More than 500 priests and people from every denomination across the Isle of Man joined together at Tynwald Hill in St Johns last night to Simply Pray.

It was an event echoed throughout the British Isles yesterday in a bid to encourage a meaningful period of reflection in the modern world.

Here on the Island as the sun began to set at 7pm - there was an hour of formal, familiar and spontaneous prayer.
