Fashion Face Off, the popular charity fashion show, is back at the Villa Marina on Saturday 24th November.
Crossroads Care’s Formal Wear Shop will be back on the catwalk defending its title as ‘Queen of Charity Shops’ against competitors British Red Cross, Hospice and ManxSPCA.
The show will see a showcase of clothing sourced from the islands charity shops, with the audience voting for their favourite collection in a Gok Wan style.
Charities will be joined on stage by Wendy Campbell who will be testing the audiences’ knowledge to see if they can spot the difference between high street and designer outfits, and offering top tips on how to dress for your body shape, colouring and how to give older items of clothing a new lease of life ready for the party season.
There will also be a vintage catwalk with true vintage designs and remakes from the 1920s to the present day, wearable art, song and dance from Gena’s Dance Academy and the opportunity to buy outfits seen in the show.
The show will open at 6pm with a Beauty Playground and Champagne Reception sponsored by Barclays, where for £5 guests can enjoy a 15 minute treatment of their choice from a menu including manicures, pedicures, foot massage, head massage, make-up and others ahead of the show at 8pm.
Crossroads Care is also offering guests the opportunity to receive £100.00 worth of vouchers when you bring a new or used handbag to the show to donate to the charity shops.
