Crossroads Care has two Fangtastic events planned for this autumn. ‘Spooktacular Spooktacular’, a great day out for all the family, at Curraghs Wildlife Park on Saturday 27th October.
The Wildlife Park will come to life with ghouls and goblins for a days worth of spooky activities and entertainment for Halloween. Children and families will be able to enjoy crafts, a Ghost Train, growing a pumpkin, creepy crawly talks, face painting, trick or treat treasure hunt and cookery classes from Kiddie Chefs IOM.
Regular admission fees apply. Children in fancy dress enter for free based on one child per paying adult.
Ahead of the event, Crossroads are inviting companies and organisations to make a pumpkin for the animals with a chance to win an animal experience. Lanterns will be displayed at the Park from Monday 22nd October with winning entries announced at the event.
Entry into the competition is £10.00 per lantern. The winning lantern will be judged by visitors to the Park with lanterns fed to the animals following the event.
Crossroads will also be hosting ‘Legal Murder’, an interactive murder mystery, dinner theatre production on Saturday 3rd November at the Columba Club in Douglas.
Peel Pantoloons will perform a three part play, during which guests will have the opportunity to guess ‘who dunnit’, with prizes for guessing correctly.
There will be a grand raffle and bar and a 2-course dinner served by MASH.
