A book of condolence has been opened by Manx police in memory of PC Fiona Bone who was killed in Manchester last week.

Fiona was schooled on the Island and her family still live here.

The book will be available at Port Erin police station between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

Outside of these hours, access for those wishing to pay their respects will depend on the availability of police officers

Meanwhile, the funerals of the two murdered policewomen will take place at Manchester Cathedral next week.

PC Hughes will be laid to rest at one o'clock next Wednesday and the service for PC Bone will take place at 10am on Thursday morning.

The two officers were killed in Hattersley when they were called to what they thought was a routine burglary.
