Stylish Readshaw wins End to End

Mike Readshaw produced a personal best display to win the Ramsey Bakery End to End Walk.

He finished 17 minutes clear of his nearest competitor in the race walk from the Point of Ayre to The Sound, finishing ahead of Stephen Harvey and Dave Walker who rose from eighth place at Peel to finish third.

Janice Quirk returned to competitive action to take the women's title and fourth position overall.

Jonathan Wild, five-time parish walk winner Robbie Callister and Simon Briggs completed the top seven.

Maureen Moffatt was the second woman home in 13th place.

Stephanie Quayle and Sue Biggart were the third and fourth fastest women in 17th and 18th respectively with Gillian Cunningham fifth fastest in 20th place overall.
