The home affairs minister has visited the family of the policewoman from the Isle of Man who was killed in Greater Manchester.
Juan Watterson spent some time with Fiona Bone's parents Paul and June and her sister Vicky at their invitation on Friday.
He told Manx Radio they were still coming to terms with what had happened, but were overwhelmed by the support shown from the public both on the Island and in the United Kingdom.
Fiona, who was 32, and her 23-year-old colleague Nicola Hughes were killed in a gun and grenade attack while on duty in Tameside on Tuesday.
The minister also took the opportunity to speak to Greater Manchester police's chief constable Sir Peter Fahy to thank him and his force for their ongoing work on the investigation and supporting the family, and offered the support of the Island's government and constabulary.
