Man accused of murdering Fiona Bone appears in court

A man's appeared in court charged with the murders of two police officers in Greater Manchester.

Twenty nine year old Dale Cregan was charged with the murders of WPC's Fiona Bone and her colleague Nichola Hughes.

He also faced charges of killing a father and son earlier this year.

The police officers died in what's believed to have been a gun and grenade attack on Tuesday.

Fiona attended Castle Rushen High School in the 1990s and her family still live on the Island.

Cregan was remanded in custody until Monday.
