Government investigates Twitter messages

The government’s looking into whether its main Twitter account has been targeted by hackers.

The @iomgovernment account has been sending messages to people who follow it, saying “you even see him taping u”.

But they redirect to a Facebook page which bears no connection to the Island and asks people to log in to Twitter to view a video.

Sources at the government say they’re investigating.
