by isleofman.com 15th September 2012

The Chairman of the Isle of Man Cricket Association says the Island team has "fulfilled a vision" . . . and could now go on to great things.

Earlier this month the Isle of Man cricket team became ICC European Division Two champions after a convincing victory over Sweden in Corfu.

By making it to the final, they were also automatically promoted to Divsion One

Barry Smith says the team aims to remain in Division One and now aim to finish in the top six.
