by isleofman.com 14th September 2012

Gold medal winning cyclist Peter Kennaugh was back in action on the Isle of Man today.

The Olympic champion was scoring another first as he cut the red ribbon to open the new central library at Peel Clothworkers School.

The facility has been created over the spring and summer terms by two children from each stage two class who act as "librarians", . with help from staff and parents plus sponsorship from storage company Doxbond.

Peter says his life has changed immeasurably since winning the Olympics, but he's delighted to be putting something back into the Isle of Man
