Gansey EMI unit to re-open

by isleofman.com 14th September 2012

The Gansey EMI unit in Southlands will re-open next month.

Social Care bosses have confirmed the elderly mentally infirm facility will open fully again in October, once specialist staff have been recruited.

The unit closed at the end of August due to a shortage of staff, with eight patients transferred to Thie Menagh in Farmhill in the interim.
