End 2 End feedback sought by organisers

Organisers of the Sleepwell Hotels End 2 End mountain bike challenge say they want feedback from cyclists and members of the public on how the event can be improved for next year.

Just under 1,700 riders attempted the route from the Point of Ayre to The Sound last Sunday in what's become one of the sport's biggest events in the British Isles.

Riders will be asked to complete a survey on what worked and what didn't, and those living or working along the course are also urged to make their views known.

There was serious disruption in St John's as cyclists poured onto a public road for up to two hours late morning, holding up farm vehicles and a milk tanker.

Race organiser Steve Honeybone says they make every effort to speak to local residents before the race:
