Manx Telecom will be first to offer the new iPhone 5 in the Isle of Man and is expecting huge demand for Apple’s latest version of the iconic smartphone. Customers will be able to pre-order their device through the Manx Telecom website from 9am on 14th September as well as continue to provide an expression of interest in-store should they so wish. The iPhone 5 will be available free subject to the contract taken.

David Smith, Manx Telecom Marketing Director, said:

“The new iPhone 5 looks amazing and we’re delighted that we can now start to take pre-orders. We expect Apple will start shipping the new iPhone 5 in late September and we guarantee that those customers who place their pre-order with us, will be the first to receive their new handset on the day they come into stock.

The device features a thinner and lighter design, it has a bigger and better 4 inch retina display screen which is the largest iPhone screen to date and has a 16:9 ratio matching that of widescreen televisions, perfect for movie watching. This is complemented by an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, new panorama mode and 1080p HD video recording along with a 720p video recording on the front-facing camera, plus an. A6 processor with 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB of internal storage and additional storage options will be made available soon.

Manx Telecom is offering the iPhone 5 on Pay Monthly tariffs from £35.99 per month. Limited stocks are due in to the Douglas store very soon and pre-order customers will be the first to receive their device when they arrive.

Go to www.manxtelecom.com/iphone5 to pre-order today, visit Manx Telecom’s store in Strand Street, Douglas, to provide an expression of interest or call 624 624 for more information. As well as being the first telecoms retailer to bring the iPhone 5 to the Isle of Man, Manx Telecom was also first on the Island to stock the iPhone 4 when it launched in 2010.
