Burrows bids farewell to road racing

Northern Irish rider John Burrows has said goodbye to road racing.

He decided to retire from the sport following the tragic death of close friend Trevor Ferguson at the Manx Grand Prix.

On Sunday, John completed a lap of the course at Killalane with fellow Dungannon retiree Ryan Farquhar to say farewell to the fans.

The pair rode bikes belonging to Trevor Ferguson - at the end of the tribute lap Ryan uttered some poignant words to John:
