Sea Kayakers to deliver presentation on their Aleutians 2012 adventure

by isleofman.com 7th September 2012

Following the highly successful Aleutians 2012 Sea Kayak Exploration in May this year, adventurers Keirron Tastagh and George Shaw are delivering a presentation of their epic journey. Video footage and stunning photography will accompany their verbal accounts of this world first in sea kayaking.

The un-supported duo set a new record in sea kayaking, completing the furthest paddle West from Dutch Harbor on Unalaska to Herbert Island - the last of the 'Islands of the Four Mountains'. A highly technical and challenging trip, involving real risk in a remote location, with maximum exposure to the elements."

Entry to the presentation is free with the venue opening at 7pm for a 7:30pm start on Saturday 22nd September, at the Claremont Hotel on Douglas Promenade. There will be a bar open and a collection will take place following the presentation for the RNLI, the pair's nominated charity.

Contact Keirron at info@adventurousexperiences.com for more information, and to let him know if you will be able to attend.

The presentation is expected to finish at 8:30pm and will include time for the audience to ask questions.
