Parade lap questioned by Chairman of Marshal's Association

Chairman of the Isle of Man TT Marshal’s Association, Terry Holmes, says he’s happy with the decision to go ahead with the last lap of this year’s Senior MGP.

Some marshals had been claiming the wet weather meant the race should have been cut short – but Mr Holmes says that decision rests with the clerk of the course.

He says he’s happy that the clerk, Phil Taubman, made an informed decision when the race was allowed to run its full four laps.

But another aspect of this year’s events on the course did trouble him:
