Flying high and promoting far and wide made for a busy summer for Manx2.com again this year. Along with representatives from Isle of Man Tourism they exhibited at a number of country and agricultural shows over the summer months with a new display marquee for 2012.
Since June, the Manx2.com team has attended the Malvern County show, the Great Yorkshire Show, the Royal Welsh and the Anglesey Shows, as well as the Island’s own Southern and Royal Agricultural Shows.
Manx2.com Managing Director, David Buck, said: ‘Being present at these kinds of shows over the summer has been a fantastic opportunity to increase exposure of the Isle of Man. It’s an ideal way of reaching out to people and letting them know everything the island has to offer, and to promote it as a unique holiday and business destination.’
Geoff Corkish MBE MHK, Political Member for Isle of Man Tourism, said: ‘Hundreds of thousands of people attended these shows, making them a wonderful opportunity for Manx2.com to emphasise what a unique and accessible destination the Isle of Man is. So many thanks again to Manx2.com for their proactive involvement in tourism in the Isle of Man.’
