Final day's racing at MGP 2012

by isleofman.com 31st August 2012

It's the final day's racing at this year's Manx Grand Prix.

Roads will close at 9.30 this morning and weather allowing the first race, the 4 lap Classic Superbike/Junior Post Classic, will get away at 10.15.

This will be followed by the Senior Manx Grand Prix - also over four laps - at 1.15 and finally the Vintage Motorcycle Club parade lap at 3pm.

The Roads Open car is currently scheduled to leave the Grandstand at 3.25, with all roads open by 4.10pm.

The schedule is subject to weather conditions and whilst there is a lovely start to the day forecasters say cloud will thicken during the afternoon to give some light rain or drizzle, chiefly mid to late afternoon.
