Racer dies during SuperTwin race

The Manx Motorcycle Club has confirmed a racer has died during today’s SuperTwin Manx Grand Prix Race.

Ryan Farquhar’s uncle, 48 year old Trevor Ferguson from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland died after an incident at The Nook on the approach to Governors Dip.

Trevor first competed in the 2006 Manx Grand Prix and came sixth in the 2008 Junior.

He was married with three children and his next of kin have been informed.

The Coroner of Inquests has been notified and an investigation into the accident is underway.
