Diabetes diagnosis leads to artistic creations

A local diabetes sufferer says being diagnosed with the disease led to him discovering his unusual artistic talent.

Bob Hitchin found out he was insulin dependent 12 years ago.

At the same time he started experimenting with computer images coming up with an original medium.

This week he's holding his first exhibition in St Ninian's Church, raising money for the Isle of Man Diabetes Centre.

Bob believes the diagnosis may have spurred him on: (play audio)

The exhibition is running from 10am until 4pm every day until Saturday.
