Social care dept delighted with landlord consultation response

The Department of Social Care says it's delighted with the response to its recent consultation on the proposed Landlord Registration scheme.

Over 100 people or organisations responded to the document, which is seen as a first step towards improving the living standards and tenancy conditions of those living in poor quality, privately rented accomodation.

Director of Housing at the Department of Social Care Debbie Reeve says they will now introduce a voluntary scheme before the end of the year:
