Police still hunting sheep rustlers

by isleofman.com 27th August 2012

Police are hunting thieves who have stolen more than 40 sheep from a farm in Bride over the past month.

Officers say the ewes and lambs were taken from a field in Dogmills in Bride, and are appealing for information from the public.

Manx Radio’s Countryside presenter John Kennaugh says he suspects the theft would have needed an organised team of people who knew about handling livestock.

And he says rustling on such a scale is extremely unusual.
