BPCI appointments to Board

by isleofman.com 24th August 2012

Barclays Private Clients International (BPCI) has appointed Andrew Cole and Phil O’Shea to its Board of Directors.

Andrew has been with Barclays Wealth and Investment Management since September 2011 as Head of Wealth Services and Isle of Man Operations. He was previously with Close Brothers in Guernsey and JP Morgan in South Africa where he held senior roles in finance and operations.

A qualified chartered accountant, Andrew has responsibility for Wealth Operations in the Isle of Man as well as global functional responsibility for credit operations, branch banking operations, fund administration, estates and trust operations, Wealth utility operations, client reporting and debt management.

Phil rejoined Barclays Wealth and Investment Management last year as Head of Risk after a six year break from the organization during which he established a successful consultancy business. Previously he had worked for Barclays for 26 years which meant that on his return he was able to draw on his previous knowledge of the business, as well as experience from his other roles, to help review and ensure that the robust risk control framework in place is fully effective.
