Big Day in Port St Mary postponed

by isleofman.com 24th August 2012

Port St Mary Commissioners have decided to postpone Monday's "Big Day" in the village because of the weather forecast.

The free beach event was scheduled to have been a family fun day out with Inflatable rides, Circus School, entertainers, Stalls and "It’s a Knockout"

However, the Met Office says Monday will be wet & windy with some heavy rain and strong south to south-east winds.

The Commissioners say the event will be re-scheduled to a date to be confirmed.
