There has been something of a mixed bag of GCSE results for the Isle of Man.
The overall A*-G pass rate in the Island's five secondary schools topped 99% for the first time.
But the percentage of A* or A, and A*-C grades were only the fourth-highest on record.
In England there has been controversy over grade boundaries, particularly in English Language.
