Aviva to return to Island

by isleofman.com 23rd August 2012

A Manx corporate Independent Financial Advisor says it’s persuaded an insurer to change its mind over the Island’s corporate pensions market.

MAC Financial says Aviva, one of the world’s largest insurers, will re-enter the Isle of Man market for new business for the first time in five years.

In 2007, Aviva announced it would close to new pension business across the Island to focus on other aspects of its business.

But after a campaign by MAC Financial, Aviva has decided to come back to the Island, which MAC Group managing director Jon McGowan says is great news for Manx customers.
