Snaefell landslip means train delays

by isleofman.com 23rd August 2012

There’s more disruption on the Snaefell Mountain Railway today as engineers tackle a landslip.

After the recent heavy rain, a landslide near a section of track means the railway is operating on a single line only.

And that’s meant disruption to timetables, which are running twenty minutes behind schedule.

Marketing and new business manager, Richard Little, says a survey is underway to assess the damage and what repairs and work will be needed.
