Kara McCabe, Group Marketing Manager of global fiduciary services provider The ILS Group Limited, has been awarded Chartered Marketer status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in recognition of her ongoing commitment to maintaining and developing the highest professional marketing standards.
Since 1998 CIM has awarded Chartered Marketer status to marketing professionals who are qualified and have met strict CIM guidelines. It is the highest marketing status ever awarded to any marketing professional around the world.
To achieve this status Kara successfully passed numerous exams and completed 70 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) over two consecutive years.
Kara, who is a committee member of the Isle of Man Branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, said: “I am delighted to have been awarded Chartered Marketer status. Having Chartered Marketer status demonstrates that you practice the highest professional marketing standards by keeping your marketing knowledge and skills current. Its status is an effective measurement of business competency and expertise, which will ultimately contribute to better business performance. It is also a reassurance that the marketer will be ethical, experienced and can demonstrate first class marketing skills to give your business an improved advantage.”
Kara is now part of an elite group of 24 Chartered Marketers in the Island and 5,924 worldwide.
Chris Eaton, Chief Executive Officer of The ILS Group, which is headquartered in Douglas, but has offices in the British Virgin Islands, China, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Portugal, Switzerland and South America, said: “I would like to congratulate Kara on being awarded the highest possible status in her profession. The attainment of this status reflects Kara’s experience in the marketing field generally as well as her ability to study for, and pass, appropriate exams and will help us market our products and services across our global network of markets and offices.”
