Ramsey lifeboat launched to aid motor cruiser

Ramsey lifeboat was launched earlier this afternoon.

The call out came around 1pm after a motor boat got into difficulties whilst around a mile offshore in Ramsey Bay.

The vessel had suffered engine failure and had been unable to use its auxilliary engine.

She was towed back to safety in Ramsey harbour.
